Lefranc Bourgeois Extra-Fine Oil Colours are a popular range of artist oil colours with a broad choice of cadmium-free alternatives.
After laboratory research and collaboration with artists, Lefranc Bourgeois were able to create colours that match the strength of genuine cadmiums. A range that doesn’t rely on cadmiums offers artists a less toxic alternative.
These highly pigmented colours have high colour intensity and lightfastness. They are very finely ground, which ensures a smooth, homogeneous consistency. Lefranc Oil Colours have firm, non-greasy, and uniform consistencies. Depending on the nature of the pigments, they are formulated from either linseed or safflower oil. Both oils guarantee colour strength and are selected according to the properties of each pigment.
The range features over 100 colours, including 61 single-pigment colours. There is also a wide selection of blues and five unique metallic colours.
