Description
Michael Harding’s Non-Absorbent Titanium Buff Acrylic Primer is a flexible and permanent coloured ground for use with oil or acrylic paints. It has been formulated to provide a non-absorbent surface which will not leach oil from oil paints, helping colours retain their original lustre rather than appearing dull or flat.
This primer consists of PW6.1 pigment dispersed within an acrylic resin. It is best applied in two coats. The first coat may be diluted with water, no more than one part water to three parts primer, to improve flow and coverage. This coat will be touch-dry within a couple of hours, after which the second coat can be applied.
Suitable for use on linen, wood, MDF, and other supports. It creates an effective ground for both acrylic and oil paint. Do not apply over rabbit skin glue or to a flimsy or unstable support.
